Welcome & Expectations Call
Do It the Right Way
Account Manager, pay attention. This page is for you!
Every time we get a new client, we want their onboarding to be smooth and frictionless, and because we use checklists, smooth and frictionless are achievable and repeatable.
The first goal of an Account Manager is to ensure that the client knows what to expect right from the start. We do this by setting expectations during the welcome call.
This page will walk you through the process so that you will be guided accordingly.
Level 4 Specialist Training
Make sure you've gone through the Account Manager training first in the Academy. This is required before you can be allowed to manage client accounts. Client onboarding is just one part of the Account Manager training but a very important one.
Retainer Packages
You should know that we offer two types of retainer packages for local clients. These are the Content Engine and Conversion Engine. Before diving in on a welcome and expectations call, you should study the two packages first to know what's involved. Visit each page and study the services we are offering before moving forward.
Content Factory Dashboard
You should learn how to use our dashboard to add client information and run reports. This is also linked to our SPP so it's very important that Account Managers master it.

Things To Keep Top-of-Mind:
- Record each call (Zoom preferred)
- Make sure you are in a quiet room with no possibility of distractions
- Review all information available about the client (know your client)
- Be on time (5 minutes early)
- The Meetings Checklist is one of the items to keep "top of mind" since it's about how to prepare properly--before, during, and after the meeting
